  1. To develop a broader perspective about things that worry you, upset you, anger you, or frighten you, so that you can react with greater wisdom, more love, and less attachment to the shape of the results.
  2. To see yourself more as others see you, or even more important, to see yourself from the point of view of your higher self.
  3. To disengage from your ego-attachment to your own perspective, so that you can more truly love yourself in the same way that you love others.
